EDPS OVERVIEW

The protection of executives and diplomats is a necessary service that provides two (2) key benefits:

• Asset protection - The protection of an organization's most dynamic and influential asset - their leadership, and
• Asset optimization - The ability to elevate the productivity of these individuals, and, consequently, their organizations by liberating them from the major tasks and worries associated with their personal safety and protection. This increases the organization's overall impact and effectiveness in the real world and is measurable.

There is no doubt that security infrastructures of organizations of virtually every nation have become much more security conscious over the last few years. In our highly interconnected and inter-dependent world, threats which might have once seemed remote can and have appeared on executives' and diplomats' doorsteps (at the office, at home, or while traveling) with little or no warning at all. Modern terrorism, political and religious radicalism, stalking, and even labor disputes, natural events, power failures, and pandemics and outbreaks of disease have changed the basic nature of the threats and risk facing the executive and diplomatic communities. • Identifying vulnerabilities, threats and risks to executives, diplomats, their families, and their organizations
• Giving reasonable safety and security training and awareness for the executive, diplomat, their family, and their staff
• Establishing temporary and permanent Secure Areas (SA) and Secure Discussion Areas (SDA)
• Regular briefings and up-dates to provide situation awareness for the executive, diplomat, their family, and their staff
• Providing discrete and effective safety and security solutions for the home, office, and places where they travel
• Driving and escorting the executive and diplomat between the home, office, and various places
• Protection of executive, diplomat, which includes the added benefit of increased safety for their staff
• Domestic and foreign administrative and operational security support, including:
• Management and risk-reviews of the executive's itinerary and schedule
• Arranging secure local, national, and world-wide logistical services
• Moving the executive, diplomat, their family, and their staff around and in environments of various threat levels
• Complete provisions for medical and health-related conditions while at home and away, and
• Maintaining real-time communication with and tracking executives and diplomats around the world

By developing and maintaining effective situation awareness we can build a sufficient lead-time for preserving the safety and security of the executive, diplomat, their family, and their staff during actual or potential disruptions.

The EDPS portfolio includes real-time support of our services with:

• An executive level crisis management team (E-CMT) available on short notice
• Trustworthy, discrete, capable, and reliable plainclothes professionals and specialists available immediately
• A ULC-approved, 24/7/365 Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) acting as the worldwide nerve-centre of all Sentinel House field operations
• Sensor-fusion and remote monitoring of physically and cyber-generated alerts, alarms, and video
• Remote monitoring of and participation in analog and digital communications, and
• The ability to deliver additional strong and comprehensive services through mutual support arrangements with Sentinel House partners and associates
